Withered Sprout (やせ細りモヤツ, ) was a Dragon-level threat who was originally thought to be a Wolf-level threat. He is the main antagonist of the special chapter, Disaster Level.

Withered Sprout acts weak in order to trick heroes into thinking that they could easily defeat him. He acts like he is scared and will show his true personality once he has shown his true power. His true personality is being intent on killing heroes and using sneak attacks to defeat them. He lies in order to get heroes by surprise.

Sprout freezes the Surly Brothers but is easily defeated by Saitama.

Abilities and Power

As a Dragon-level threat, Withered Sprout is a powerful monster. He was able to easily defeat the Surly Brothers.

Supernatural Abilities

Cold Touch: Withered Sprout has an extremely potent cold touch in which he is able to easily freeze objects or heroes by surprise. He was able to freeze the Surly Brothers and their weapons with little effort. He is later able to freeze Saitama, but the hero was able to break free and defeat the monster. The power is not limited to objects or beings, as the surrounding area was frozen when Saitama came.

Trivia

  • Withered Sprout is the only monster in the series to officially be named three different threat levels.
  • He was first considered to be Wolf due to his cowardly nature and weak looking apperance.
  • He was considered a Tiger by the Hero Association after being defeated instead of a higher threat level in order to prevent "destroying the balance of the pro hero world."
  • He was suggested and considered to be a Dragon level by a Hero Association staff member, but not officially registered as one.
