Wavygyaza (ウェビギャザ, Uebigyaza; Viz: Webigather) is an idol singer who currently works as a leader in the Neo Heroes organization.
Appearance[]
Wavygyaza is an attractive young girl with large, bright eyes and long, light-colored hair. She has blunt bangs that frame her forehead, and her hair is embellished with accessories like headbands and beads or chains. She wears a frilly dress with a “W” in the middle and knee-high laced boots and wears earrings along with a tiara.

Underneath a frilly dress, she wears a Neo Heroes battle suit. When she activates her power during combat, a pair of wings appear behind her and tendrils of lightning appear intermittently around her body.
Personality[]
Being a pop star, Wavygyaza is a charismatic woman, appealing to her legions of fans. She is very determined, having a desire to surpass the idol and hero Sweet Mask to the point of jealousy, even taking a break from her own life as a celebrity to undergo cybernetic and physical enhancement.

She also has a hot-tempered side, once striking a wall hard enough to crack it after learning that Sweet Mask is actually a monster and has gone missing. Due to being exploited and betrayed throughout her career, she is naturally distrustful of others, though she is willing to open up to certain people such as Child Emperor. Her pursuit of power led her to rely on Neo Heroes' technology to survive, a choice she has accepted regardless of what consequences may come in the future. Despite this, she shows a friendly side, as seen in her conversation with Child Emperor.
During the robot invasion, when Sweet Mask appears in his monster form and asks for her help in safely neutralizing the Neo Heroes controlled by their battle suits, he praises her instincts and commends the way she behaves as an idol. Moved by his words, Wavygyaza tears up and agrees to help instead of reacting with anger in his presence. This suggests that her resentment toward Sweet Mask, both for being a monster and for retiring before she could surpass him as an idol, begins to fade.[1]

Wavygyaza undergoes cybernetic and psychic enhancement.
Wavygyaza made a name for herself as an idol singer, garnering significant support particularly from teenagers. Six months before the Neo Heroes Saga, due to her jealousy of Sweet Mask's strength and popularity, she went on a hiatus. During this time, she underwent several experiments with cybernetic modifications, mysterious drugs, and risky brain surgery to awaken psychic powers.

After her experimentation, Wavygyaza joins the Neo Heroes. She is first shown angrily hitting a wall and crying as she hears the news of Sweet Mask's monsterization and disappearance.[2] Later, the Neo leader meeting begins, and Wavygyaza is introduced by McCoy. After being analyzed by Kokou, it is revealed that 71% of Wavygyaza's body has been modified.[3]

When monsters besiege several cities, Wavygyaza sets out to defeat them along with the rest of the Neo Heroes. She leads the Neo Sugar Pop Boys in battle, briefly promoting herself and the Neo Heroes on camera before defeating a large dinosaur-like monster in a single shot.
Abilities and Powers[]
As a Neo Leader, Wavygyaza is a very powerful hero. After undergoing extensive cybernetic modifications, her strength has increased dramatically. She possesses a strong will, as noted by Kokou, which allowed her to successfully modify 71% of her body, a process that is highly risky and usually unsuccessful.[4] She was able to defeat Emperor Giant Anteater, a Demon-level threat, without sustaining any injuries.

Wavygyaza cracks the wall with her fist.
Enhanced Strength: Thanks to Wavygyaza's modifications, she possesses incredible strength, being able to cause a large crack in a wall with a single punch.[5] She is capable of denting and destroying the head of a robot with one hit that the A-Class hero Lightning Max couldn't scratch with a barrage of kicks.
Partial Cyborg Enhancement: Being a cyborg, 71% of Wavygyaza's body is modified, granting her a still-mostly unseen variety of abilities. She also took large doses of unknown drugs that increased her power to an unknown extent. Her body temperature reaches 70 degrees Celsius when she works out, so she always drinks large amounts of water to cool down.[6]
Psychokinesis: Although not yet shown, Wavygyaza underwent dangerous brain surgery that awakened her to psychic powers.
Flight: Wavygyaza can extend four butterfly-like wings behind her back and fly.
Equipment[]
Neo Heroes Battle Suit: Wavygyaza wears a Neo Heroes battle suit, which provides her with a variety of functions.
- Mobility Analysis: The suit analyzes Wavygyaza's nervous system and body, with its synthetic muscle reacting accordingly and enhancing her physical abilities.
- Life Support System: The suit contains a life support system, although it can be damaged beyond function.
Fighting Style[]
Wavygyaza charges Wavy Thunder.
Wavygyaza's combat capabilities are mostly unknown, but she has incredible power at her disposal. Her modifications are incredibly effective, her energy attacks being capable of causing widespread destruction.
- Wavy~ Thunder (ウェイビ〜サンダー, Ueibi~ Sandā): Wavygyaza puts her hands in the shape of a heart and releases an attack of the same shape. It is unknown whether the nature of the attack is cybernetic, psychic, or something else altogether, but it is incredibly powerful, blowing through the body of a large monster and killing it instantly.[7]
- Wavy~ Energy Snow (ウェイビ〜エナジースノウ, Ueibi~ Enajī Sunou): Wavygyaza locks onto the enemy, then generates dozens of motes of light from her fingertips. The small energy balls impact upon the enemy with enough force to crush metal and destroy enemies.[8]
- Wavy~ Butterfly (ウウェイビ〜バタフライ, Ueibi~ Batafurai): Wavygyaza generates wings from energy that allow her to fly at high speeds.[9]
- Wavy~ Burning Breath (ウウェイビ〜バーニングブレス, Ueibi~ Bāningu Buresu): Wavygyaza blows a stream of fire that is strong enough to melt the army of extremely durable robots.[10]
- Wavy~ Fairy Bullet (ウウェイビ〜フェアリーバレット, Ueibi~ Fearī Baretto): Combined with Wavy-Butterfly, she charges at enemy at high speed. The attack is strong enough to pierce through a huge monster.[11]
- Wavy~ Bubble Bomb (ウウェイビ〜バブルボム, Ueibi~ Baburu Bom): Wavygyaza generates two large energy spheres that cause huge explosion.[12]
Weaknesses[]
Due to the several modifications performed on her body, she needs to undergo constant maintenance from the Neo Heroes, or else she will die.[13]
