Time Travel is the ability to travel through time.
Overview[]
The user is able to travel to the past or future. So far, this ability has only been used to travel to the past, with the only known users being Saitama and Garou. To accomplish this, one imagines their inner universe while manipulating the particles inside their body; when all of the particles inside their body turn into anti-particles, the user begins to travel backwards in time. During this process, the user enters a time tunnel where distorted "images" of past moments manifest before them. To choose a specific time and place to return to, the user simply traverses through the corresponding image, effectively transporting themselves to the desired temporal destination.
Usage[]
Garou[]
After achieving his Cosmic Fear Mode, Garou gained the ability to manipulate particles within his body on a subatomic level and force them to behave like anti-particles. He refers to this power as the ultimate technique of his fist. However, Garou admitted that he hadn't yet mastered this technique for time travel.[1] Nevertheless, there was an implication that he eventually did grab it. This was hinted at when Tareo was awakened by what appeared to be Garou's soul from the Ominous Future. The apparition slowly faded from view, suggesting that Garou had traversed time to bid farewell to the boy.
Saitama[]
After being defeated by Saitama, Garou passed on to him his time travel technique in hope that Saitama could learn and master it in order to change the Ominous Future that occured during their fight. While executing his technique, Garou was soon killed by "God", who took back his powers in the process, although not before Saitama managed to replicate Garou's ability to time leap and use it to successfully travel to the past. Upon returning to the moment Garou was appearing in front of the heroes in Z-City, Saitama was able to defeat him with a single punch before any bad consequences could occur again, thus successfully changing the Ominous Future.[2] However, right after this success, the "future" Saitama was forcibly pulled towards his "past" self in that timeline, resulting in a single Saitama with no memory of the Ominous Future and the time travel technique.[3]
