| — Tatsumaki to Apollo. |
Tatsumaki vs. Apollo is the battle between the two espers Tatsumaki and Apollo.
Prelude[]
Apollo arrives at the Hero Association Headquarters.
Apollo, a member of Tsukuyomi, secretly arrives at the Hero Association Headquarters to negotiate a trade. He aims to acquire Psykos, who is imprisoned there, in exchange for a substantial sum of money. Sensing Apollo's presence, Fubuki gathers her Blizzard Group and Saitama to head to the transaction location. Upon their arrival, Tatsumaki also makes an entrance, bursting through from above.
Battle[]
When Tatsumaki attempts to kill Psykos, Apollo and Fubuki use their psychic powers to create a barrier around her for protection. Infuriated, Tatsumaki retaliates by sending Apollo crashing into a wall. Once he recovers, Apollo telekinetically destroys the security cameras and knocks out the Hero Association staff trying to flee. Declaring his intent to take both the psychic sisters, he engages Tatsumaki in a battle of psychic prowess, causing the ground beneath Saitama to split and sending him plummeting to the floor below.
Apollo and the spy prepare to leave.
Their clash generates an earthquake that shakes the Hero Association Headquarters. Apollo finds himself at a disadvantage as Tatsumaki mocks him, questioning whether he believes a pitiful guinea pig like him can compete with her. In response, Apollo telekinetically triggers a capsule containing a soporific that a spy had secretly slipped into Fubuki's beauty supplements. He mentions an additional poisonous capsule, prompting Tatsumaki to deduce that a Tsukuyomi spy is among the Blizzard Group, having made Fubuki ingest those pills. With Fubuki taken hostage, Apollo demands that Tatsumaki cease her resistance. As Tatsumaki powers down, Apollo forcefully restrains her with his telekinesis and then activates and breaks the access control panel, releasing a horde of Demon-level Mysterious Beings from the B14 containment cage, intended to eliminate all witnesses. The Tsukuyomi Spy reveals himself, preparing to leave with Apollo, who is also taking Tatsumaki, Fubuki, and Psykos. Several members of the Blizzard Group attempt to rescue their leader, but Apollo swiftly takes down them. Seeing her subordinates hurt, Fubuki tries to break free, but Apollo restrains her.
Tatsumaki encases Apollo in a spherical mass of debris.
As panic ensues among the Blizzard Group, fearing the released monsters will slaughter them, Saitama bursts through the horde with a single punch, annihilating all the monsters to the shock of everyone present. At this moment, Tatsumaki breaks free, causing Apollo to trigger the poison capsule within Fubuki, though it proves futile. By mimicking the wavelength of Apollo's telekinetic signals, Tatsumaki has already pinpointed the location of the pill and compressed it into a needle shape. She extracts it from Fubuki's body safely and directs it at Apollo's face, piercing his right eye as he fails to stop it with his hands. Tatsumaki sees that the poison needle does not kill Apollo instantly, noting he must have some resistance. Declaring her intent to extract information from him, she telekinetically surrounds Apollo with rubble, trapping him in a spherical mass of debris. The Tsukuyomi spy attempts to escape, but Tatsumaki sends him crashing into a wall. With this, Tatsumaki stands smugly victorious.
Aftermath[]
During the fight between Saitama and Tatsumaki, Apollo and the spy manage to escape by digging the ground beneath. They enter their car and drive away from the Hero Association Headquarters, visibly injured and bleeding. As they make their escape, the spy notices the tornado generated by Tatsumaki during her battle with Saitama from a distance. Apollo, nursing his wounds, vows to take revenge on Tatsumaki.
