Sweet Mask vs. Fuhrer Ugly is the battle between the A-Class hero Sweet Mask and the Monster Association executive Fuhrer Ugly.
Prelude[]
After defeating Do-S, Sweet Mask continues to roam the Monster Association Headquarters, coming across more monsters and beheading one of them, taking its head with him.
Sweet Mask destroys monster cell tanks
Sweet Mask comes across a room with many tanks and hundreds of monster cells within them. The monster head explains the machine's function to Sweet Mask. The hero concludes that in order to stop the production of monster cells, he must kill Orochi, and he destroys the tanks containing the cells.
Later, he encounters several large mirrors, using them to admire himself in a narcissistic fashion. While preoccupied with his reflection, Fuhrer Ugly suddenly appears behind him, and the mirror reveals the monster's image, causing Sweet Mask to recoil in horror at its grotesqueness.
Battle[]
Sweet Mask throws the head of a monster at the mirror and flees
In a panic, Sweet Mask hurls the head at the mirror, shattering it, and stumbles back. Fuhrer Ugly kicks him through multiple mirrors, as Sweet Mask grapples with the realization that even he, the handsome, highly intelligent, and mighty warrior deemed "perfect," cannot prevail in this battle. Fuhrer Ugly recognizes him as the idol "Sweet Mask" and declares him the hero he loathes the most, remarking that they both evoke screams from women in different ways.
Sweet Mask is paralyzed by Fuhrer Ugly's ugliness
Vowing to kill Sweet Mask, Fuhrer Ugly claims that appearance and battle prowess do not align, and he plans to etch reality into the hero's face. He lands a series of punches on Sweet Mask, forcing him back. Acknowledging Fuhrer Ugly's formidable strength, Sweet Mask deduces that he is a type of Ugmon, an ugly individual whose social issues breed hatred, ultimately transforming them into monsters. He realizes that their monstrous strength correlates with the ugliness in their hearts. Sweet Mask reaffirms that this battle is unwinnable, not only due to the monster's power but because witnessing extreme ugliness paralyzes him with fear.
Sweet Mask unable to fight back and tells Fuhrer Ugly to stay away from him
As he struggles against Fuhrer Ugly, Sweet Mask frantically tells him to stay away while the monster laughs maniacally. Knowing he cannot win, Sweet Mask hides and calls for assistance from the other heroes. Tatsumaki scolds him for his inadequacy, suggesting that the battle strategy may fail because a member was squared to rescue him. Frustrated by Tatsumaki's stubbornness, Sweet Mask requests other heroes for help, asking to switch opponents due to his poor matchup. However, as he speaks, Fuhrer Ugly finds him, reigniting their conflict. Eventually, Tatsumaki intervenes by creating a psychic barrier around Sweet Mask while lifting the entire Monster Association Headquarters above ground.
Aftermath[]
After being saved by Tatsumaki, Sweet Mask feels shaken and humiliated by how ineffective his strength was against Fuhrer Ugly.
