Stinger comes from a family of farmers.

Stinger joined the Hero Association half a year before the start of the story and quickly rose through the ranks to the top 10 of the A-Class.

Plot

Hero Association Saga

Sea Monster Arc

Stinger defeated by the Sea King

The Seafolk emerge from the sea and attack civilians in J-City. Stinger arrives at the scene and cuts off the arm of one of the monsters. He challenges the Seafolk to a fight and manages to defeat all but four.. He kills the remaining four using Gigantic Drill Stinger Quadruple Thrust. As he relishes his victory, he is attacked by the Deep Sea King, who knocks him out with a single punch.

Stinger is hospitalized alongside Lightning Max. As the two read about the Deep Sea King incident in the newspaper, Puri-Puri Prisoner appears, much to their horror, and attempts to inject them with his "Angel Shots", but the two escape.

At some point after this, Stinger receives a promotion to rank 10.

Alien Conquerors Arc

Stinger, Lightning Max, and Mumen Rider assist with the rescue operations in A-City after the attack by the Dark Matter Thieves.

Human Monster Saga

Super Fight Arc

Stinger is one of heroes seen fighting against monsters as Suiryu calls for help.

Monster Association Arc

Garou pummels Stinger

Death Gatling leads a group of heroes, which include Stinger, to capture Garou.

Stinger attempts to hit Garou with his bamboo shoot, but Garou uses Wild Horn as a shield. After Garou defeats some of the heroes, he challenges Stinger to a one-on-one fight, to which Stinger accepts. Stinger tells Smile Man and Death Gatling not to interfere. Garou taunts Stinger once more, drawing him out to defeat him more easily.

Stinger is later saved from Elder Centipede's rampage by Bomb.

When Unihorn is thrown at Garou, Stinger's attack is superimposed to the attack as Garou draws similarities between the two.
