Seeking a worthy opponent for a challenging battle, Lord Boros and the Dark Matter Thieves under his command journeyed through space for many years aboard a giant spaceship.[1] Thus, Boros earned the title of Dominator of the Universe. Starting from an unspecified location in the cosmos, it took Boros and his crew 20 years to reach Earth, guided by an alien seer.[2]
The solar system in One-Punch Man mirrors its real-life counterpart, as shown by the appearances of celestial bodies like Jupiter, Io, and Mars in the series.
