Self Destruction (自爆, Jibaku) is the ability to detonate oneself. It costs the user's life after performing.

Overview

The user can cause themselves to explode with varying effects. It is a last ditch effort and used only when the user is incapable of defeating their opponents in combat.

When Genos loses his battle against Mosquito Girl and is about to be killed, he attempts to self-destruct and eliminate the monster with the blast. Before the cyborg could actually perform the technique, Saitama quickly slapped Mosquito Girl, saving Genos and leading him to stop his action in time.

During his battle against Eyesight, Child Emperor orders an Underdog Man to grab the monster and self-destruct. The robot is then destroyed, but Eyesight managed to withstand the explosion.

After the battle against the fusion of Psykos and Orochi, Genos' core overheats and he himself is about to explode. According to him, he will create a nuclear explosion with a 5 kilometer radius, telling the other heroes to evacuate and attempting to wipe out all of the remaining monsters of the Monster Association. However; Fubuki manages to save the cyborg by suppressing the heat flow of his core and healing his organic parts with her telekinesis.
