Saitama vs. Personification Of A Light Pull Cord was a battle between Saitama and the Tiger-level monster Personification Of A Light Pull Cord. The battle took place during Saitama's intense training regimen and before the main events of the series.
Saitama has now been doing his training regiment for 300 days and is starting to feel the effect of working out too much. He has clearly shown improvements such as running at higher speeds than usual and saving a boy from a speeding car. Although the training is boosting his physical prowess, he admits that it is flawed in which stinging pain starts becoming more frequent. Suddenly, a mysterious being appears, boasting about its strength and destroying a nearby vehicle. Saitama approaches the mysterious being, but is doubtful about his success due to the pain of his training.
Saitama tries to attack Personification Of A Light Pull Cord, but is distracted by the stinging pain in his body. As a result, the monster is able to punch Saitama through a truck and into a wall. Saitama thinks he is at his limits, but is determined to defeat the monster. Before Saitama is capable of attacking again, Personification Of A Light Pull Cord attacks him with his Pull Cord Rush.
As Saitama is down, a tooth falls out of his mouth. Saitama gets up and feels better now that the decaying tooth is out (which was the origin of the stinging pain). He then swiftly defeats Personification Of A Light Pull Cord with one punch.
Saitama moves on to workout again and Personification Of A Light Pull Cord is defeated. Later, in the original story line, Saitama ponders in his bathroom about how maintaining healthy teeth prevents tooth decay.
- Personification Of A Light Pull Cord made a cameo appearance in Episode 4 of the anime when Saitama is talking about how he is not recognized for his victories over monsters.
