— Orochi to Saitama. |
Saitama vs. Orochi is the battle between the hero Saitama and the leader of the Monster Association, Orochi.
Prelude[]
After its defeat by Tatsumaki, Gyoro Gyoro calls out to Orochi for help, but no response comes. It wonders why Orochi isn't coming to its aid, believing it's gained complete control over him through years of brainwashing during his transformation into a monster. Unbeknownst to Gyoro Gyoro, Orochi has taken notice of Saitama, who defeated Overgrown Rover. Orochi admits he doesn't know how Saitama got in, but it's clear that Saitama is not just another insignificant intruder.
Battle[]
Orochi initiates the battle by attacking Saitama with four dragon heads, but they are quickly destroyed by several punches from the hero. Surprised, Orochi listens as Saitama explains that he lives right above them and is annoyed by the noise Orochi has been making. As Orochi starts to feel a mysterious pressure from Saitama, Rover wakes up after being previously knocked unconscious by the hero. Orochi then watches Rover flee in fear at the sight of Saitama and asks if Saitama had done something to the dog. Saitama casually replies that he simply gave Rover a smack for bad behavior.
Orochi, with keen perception, deduces that Saitama is the one who defeated Gouketsu and Elder Centipede, and realizes that the rumors about the "Ghost Town Horror" were not about any other monster, but Saitama. Understanding that Saitama's strength surpasses anything he's ever faced, Orochi, delighted to finally meet such an opponent, removes his mask and leads Saitama deep underground to a mysterious shrine.
Upon arrival at a lava-filled area, Orochi explains that he discovered a tablet depicting himself, which showed that a worthy sacrifice was required to resurrect "God". Orochi believes the tablet refers to him as a god and declares that Saitama will be the sacrifice for his resurrection. However, Saitama, uninterested in Orochi's words, is simply trying to adjust to the intense environment, even submerging himself in lava.
Confused by Saitama's casual attitude, Orochi decides to unleash his full power, intending to end the fight quickly. He begins drawing energy from the Earth's core, which causes a worldwide earthquake that is felt by nearly everyone on the planet. After absorbing enough power, Orochi launches his ultimate attack, Gaia Cannon, a large energy blast aimed at Saitama. In response, Saitama counters with his Serious Squirt Gun, completely dissipating Orochi's Gaia Cannon by using his hands to squirt lava at it, leaving the Monster King in shock. Without delay, Saitama leaps at Orochi and blows him apart with a single punch, ending the battle.
Aftermath[]
Having defeated Orochi effortlessly, Saitama expresses his gratitude to the Monster King for providing him with a nice "bath" before departing. Orochi notices the area beginning to collapse and crawls toward the mysterious shrine in a desperate attempt to protect it. Just as he reaches the ancient tablet, an image of "God" appears on the wall, unnoticed by Orochi.
To investigate Orochi's defeat, Gyoro Gyoro sends out one of its spy drones, only to find remnants. Coincidentally, King appears at the scene, prompting Gyoro Gyoro to flee and fall into a lower section of the base. Saitama then destroys the drone, leading Gyoro Gyoro to mistakenly identify King as Orochi's killer.

Battle[]
Orochi and his dragons on his left hand strike with the newly-learned Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist. However, Saitama manages to kill all of the dragons with his punches. Orochi's dragons on his right hand fire several beams of energy. The force of the dragons combining their energy beams creates a huge blast, as well as creating several lightning bolts. Throughout the Monster Association Headquarters, these bolts of lightning strike several heroes, such as Atomic Samurai, who blocks the bolts with his sword, Bang and Bomb, who redirect or destroy the bolts with their respective martial arts, and Tatsumaki and Gyoro Gyoro, who protect themselves with psychic barriers. The energy blasts also elevate the terrain below Z-City and cause the buildings to rise, as well as destroy many other buildings in the process.
Meanwhile, a metro train experiences the shockwaves of the attack. The conductor, braking in response, sees a massive circular gap where the tracks have been obliterated. They also catch a glimpse of a figure—Saitama—rushing towards Orochi. The hero leaps into the air, ready to deliver a powerful punch to Orochi's head. Orochi, in desperation, sends more dragons to stop Saitama, but they are quickly destroyed.
Orochi and his remaining dragons combine their energy for a final attack, releasing a downward blast. However, Saitama pushes through the blast and lands a devastating punch, blasting through Orochi's body. As his broken body floats in the air, Orochi weakly asks what Saitama just did. Saitama casually replies that it was just a normal punch that hit him. As Orochi's head and body fall down into the pit, he remarks on how he is finally feeling terror. From a ledge, Saitama watches his fallen opponent, once again victorious.
Aftermath[]
Gyoro Gyoro sends one of its drones to search for Orochi, only to find his remains, assuming the Monster King is dead. While searching for the hero responsible, it spots Saitama, who mistakes the drone for a bug and crushes it with a clap of his hands. As Gyoro Gyoro comments on Saitama's bald head, Tatsumaki assumes it's referring to Superalloy Darkshine and mistakenly credits the latter for Orochi's defeat.
