Saitama vs. Genos: Round Two is the second spar between Saitama and Genos.
Prelude[]
After Genos has received a new upgrade from Dr. Kuseno, he was able to incinerate the Forest King, a Dragon-level threat. Genos suggests to Saitama that he move in with him at his new apartment, though Saitama rejects the idea as it's smaller than where he used to live and cannot fit anyone else in with him. Genos then suggests he live in the apartment as furniture, though again Saitama rejects the idea. Genos then mentions his new upgrade to Saitama, asking to spar again.

Genos charges at Saitama
Saitama and Genos go to a deserted location to have their second spar. Genos immediately unleashes a blinding beam of light from his core, temporarily blinding Saitama. Genos then leaps towards Saitama and throws a powerful punch. However, just before landing the hit, Genos stops his fist in front of Saitama. When Saitama asks why, Genos explains that he didn't want to dirty Saitama's clothes by landing the punch.
Aftermath[]
After the spar, Saitama and Genos sit together on the edge of a cliff. Genos asks Saitama if he has become stronger, but Saitama can only vaguely say that Genos has gotten "brighter." This leaves Genos feeling disappointed, as he has been Saitama's disciple for two months but Saitama still has no concern for his strength.
The conversation then shifts to Genos mentioning his desire to one day destroy the Rampaging Cyborg that killed his family four years ago. Genos then reveals that he has received an invitation to join the Neo Heroes organization and plans to accept it. He asks if Saitama will join as well, but Saitama declines, feeling it's too much work, which in turn changes Genos' mind and he decides not to join either.
Trivia[]
- An interesting detail is the visual similarity between Genos' punch in this spar and Saitama's punch from their first spar in Chapter 17. Additionally, in both spars, a lizard is seen sitting on rubble, observing the fight, which is depicted in double-page spreads.
