Saitama vs. Genos: Round Two is the second spar between Saitama and Genos.
Prelude[]
After receiving a new upgrade from Dr. Kuseno, Genos successfully eliminates the Forest King, a Dragon-level threat. He then suggests to Saitama that they live together at his new apartment. However, Saitama declines, noting that it is smaller than his previous apartment and would not be able to accommodate anyone else. Genos then proposes living there as furniture, but Saitama rejects the idea once more. Genos shifts the topic to his recent upgrade and asks Saitama for another sparring session.
Battle[]
Genos activates Lightning Core.
Saitama and Genos go to a deserted location to have their second spar. Genos immediately unleashes a blinding beam of light from his core, temporarily blinding Saitama. Genos then leaps towards Saitama and throws a powerful punch. However, just before landing the hit, Genos stops his fist in front of Saitama. The shockwave generated by the punch tears through the landscape behind Saitama, resembling the effect Saitama produced in their first spar. When Saitama asks why he stops, Genos explains he did not want to soil Saitama's clothing by actually hitting him.
Aftermath[]
Following the spar, they sit on a cliff's edge. Genos asks whether he has become stronger. Saitama gives a vague response, saying Genos has gotten "brighter," leaving Genos disappointed. Despite training under Saitama for over two months, he feels his progress is unacknowledged.
The conversation turns to Genos expressing his long-standing desire to destroy the Rampaging Cyborg responsible for killing his family four years ago. He reveals that he has received an offer to join the Neo Heroes and plans to accept. He asks if Saitama will join too, but Saitama declines, saying it sounds like too much work. As a result, Genos changes his mind and decides not to join either.

- An interesting detail is the visual similarity between Genos' punch in this spar and Saitama's punch from their first spar in Chapter 17. Additionally, in both spars, a lizard is seen sitting on rubble, observing the fight, which is depicted in double-page spreads.
