Whirlwind Water Stream: Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist (旋風流水 轟気空裂拳, Senpū Ryūsui: Gōki Kūretsu-ken; Viz: Whirling Wind Flowing Water: Fist of Roaring Qi, Rending Air), or simply Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist (轟気空裂拳, Gōki Kūretsu-ken; Viz: Fist of Roaring Qi, Rending Air), is a powerful martial art fighting style that combines Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist and Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist together.
Overview[]
This technique normally requires two combatants to be performed.[1] To use the technique in pairs, Bang and Bomb stand side-by-side and assume strong stances. Both proceed to perform their respective martial arts, striking their opponent simultaneously. This results in the release of powerful shockwaves that surge through their target's body, causing devastating internal damage.[1] The shockwave generated by this technique is so potent that it can pulverize surrounding debris into fine powder.[2] In a remarkable display of its effectiveness, Bang and Bomb together were able to knock back a charging Elder Centipede and shatter the giant monster's hard exoskeleton. This impressive combined attack left Genos awestruck who labeled it the "ultimate technique."[1] However, it is stated by Bang that they can only execute this technique once per battle since both of them have passed their prime.[1]
During the fight between a monsterized Garou and Bang, the former has demonstrated enough skills to not only be able to perform this technique alone by utilizing Bang's and Bomb's martial arts in each hand respectively, but Garou's capacities for it are also highly potent, which Bomb even remarks that should Bang endure a blow from Garou, the resulting shockwaves would fracture his bones. As Bang and Bomb together are only barely able to perform Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist, Bang wonders if monsterization is what allows Garou to make use of this devastating technique.[3] Despite a grazing blow from Garou, the resulting shockwave was powerful enough to seemingly devastate Bang's body, ultimately leading to his defeat after a grueling battle.[4]
Though as strong as Roaring Aura Sky Ripping Fist is, Murata has still stated that it is inferior to Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist, another powerful technique that also combines Bang's and Bomb's martial arts.[5]
