Portal Creation is the ability to create portals for various purposes.
Overview[]
The user can open portals, which function as gateways connecting different points in space, enabling teleportation to various locations. With enough proficiency, the user can travel not only between planets but also across alternate dimensions.
In addition to its utility for travel, this highly versatile ability offers significant advantages in combat. By creating portals, the user can launch surprise attacks from unexpected angles, redirect incoming attacks, and forcibly transport opponents to different locations.
Usage[]
Blast[]
Blast primarily employs this ability in combat and for transporting himself and others to different locations or dimensions. He appears to use two distinct types of portals. The first is a smaller, circular type resembling spatial gateways. These are commonly used during combat to redirect enemy attacks, strike from unexpected angles, deliver rapid successive blows, and teleport short distances on the battlefield. This portal type does not require any specific gesture to activate. He can move these portals, and with his Shut technique, close overlapping ones, resulting in an opponent being trapped in an alternate space, as seen during his attempt on Garou.
The second type is larger and resembles cosmic black holes, featuring accretion disks, event horizons, and other black hole-like traits. He uses these for large-scale teleportation across vast distances and between dimensions. To activate this type of portal, he clasps his fists together, which causes an infinity symbol to appear across them.
Garou[]
After briefly fighting Blast, Garou, in Cosmic Fear Mode, acquires the ability to open portals via his copy ability. These portals are identical to Blast's non black hole-type variants. His application of them is also very similar, including redirecting attacks, transporting opponents, and teleporting across immense distances. When forcibly transported by Blast to another dimension, he managed to return by creating his own portal. In one instance, Garou opened a portal to travel from near Jupiter to Earth, which required him to visually perceive the destination.
God[]
"God" is an otherworldly, mysterious entity with the ability to travel across dimensions. It can manipulate space to open portals between dimensions.
During the battle between Saitama and Garou, Garou's attack weakened the dimensional barrier maintained by Blast and his interdimensional allies, which had kept "God" at bay. Taking advantage of this opportunity, "God" summoned thunderclouds that acted as dimensional rifts. Its feet emerged on Earth through these rifts, although they were invisible to those present. "God" used this opportunity to approach Garou and offer him power, resulting in the Hero Hunter becoming one of its minions until his defeat at the hands of Saitama.
