The Moon (月, Tsuki) is the Earth's natural satellite.
Overview[]
The Moon is an astronomical body that orbits the Earth. One gram of moon rock is worth about 600,000 yen.[1]
Appearance[]
The Moon originally resembled its real-world counterpart. During his fight with Boros, Saitama altered its appearance by jumping back to Earth from it, leaving a massive crater on the lunar surface.
Near the end of the Monster Association incident, it is revealed that another crater exists on the far side of the Moon, on the opposite side from Saitama's jump crater. This crater is much deeper and appears to have been excavated rather than formed naturally, with what seems to be a strange, spine-like stone protruding from its center.
Plot[]
Hero Association Saga[]
Giant Meteor Arc[]
As the giant meteor approaches the Earth, the Moon is briefly seen.[2]
Alien Conquerors Arc[]

After activating his Meteoric Burst, Boros kicks Saitama to the Moon. Saitama picks himself up and after a moment's consideration jumps back to Earth, leaving an immense crater on the Moon from the force of his jump.[3]
Human Monster Saga[]
Monster Association Arc[]
"God" appears standing on the Moon.
"God" appears standing on the moon right before taking Homeless Emperor's powers back and killing him.[4]
During the fight between Saitama and Garou, Blast transports them to the space between the Moon and the Earth. On the dark side of the moon, it mysteriously shows a massive crater of sorts with what appears to be a spine embedded within it.[5]
Appearances in Other Media[]
Omake[]
Volume 7 Omake 1[]
Saitama finds a small piece of rock from the moon in his boot. Discovering its high value, he goes to sell it off only to drop it in the gravel of a parking lot. Saitama and Genos then spend the night trying to find the lost moon rock.
Trivia[]
- The Moon appears to have a connection to "God", as shown when the latter emerged and stood upon the lunar surface before reclaiming Homeless Emperor's light powers and killing him.[6] Furthermore, it is repeatedly shown during key battles between the Hero Association and the Monster Association,[7][8][9][10] almost as if observing the events below.[11]
