Mentai (メンタイ, Mentai) is a Martial Artist and user of the Spice Fist.
Appearance[]
Mentai is a young man with Paarl hair and eyes. He has a small X-shaped scar on his right cheek and a band-aid over his nose. He wears a Cocoa Brown short sleeved shirt that has a chilli on it, gray pants, maroon fur on his collar and wrist, and Chestnut Rose gloves.

Mentai is participating in the Super Fight Tournament in C-City at the C-City Super Stadium. This is the sixth time Mentai has participated in the tournament.[1] While watching the match between Max and Suiryu, he was shocked by how easily the latter defeated his opponent.[2] He was beaten to near death by Choze in his round in the tournament.[3]

Mentai is later seen watching the final match between Charanko (who is Saitama in disguise) and Suiryu with Lin Lin, Sour Face and Zakos, while recovering from his injuries.[4] After Suiryu continues to battle Saitama after he got disqualified for wearing a wig[5], Mentai comments Suiryu's raw strength.[6]
Mentai is later present at the closing ceremony when it is suddenly interrupted by The Three Crows and Gouketsu, who tells them they will become monsters.[7] Mentai and the other martial artist are given a choice to become a monster or die; visibly frightened he is shocked to see some of the fighters accepting the offer.[8] He later watches Suiryu fight the transformed martial artists and is saved from Choze's energy ball attack.[9] When Suiryu considers becoming a monster, Mentai frighteningly watches, but is relieved that it was never his intention and cheers for Suiryu.[10] Mentai is then knocked out by the crows with the rest of the martial artists.[11]
Abilities and Powers[]
Not much is known about Mentai's strength. Ostensibly, he is rather weak as he was easily defeated by Choze.

Martial Artist: Mentai is presumably a skilled martial artist as he participated in the Super Fight tournament.
- Spice Fist (香辛拳, Kōshin Ken): Has not been shown yet. He uses powerful spices on his fists to blind his foes.[12]

Trivia[]
- His name is from "Mentaiko" (明太子), seasoned cod roe. His spice ability is possibly referring to "Karashi Mentaiko" (辛子明太子), Spiced pollack roe.
- In the Dune universe, Mentats are individuals with exceptional mental acuity as a result of consuming Melange, also known as Spice.
