Kirin

Kirin (麒き麟りん, Kirin) is a divine beast that serves as a Guardian Beast (守しゅ護ゴ獣じゅう, Shugojū) of "God". It was killed by Saitama.^[1]

Appearance[]

Kirin resembles a mythical creature with a dragon-like head, antlers, thick eyelashes, a flowing mane, and a beard. Its body is covered in scales and it has hooves.

Personality[]

Little is known about Kirin's personality, aside from its unwavering loyalty to "God" and its role in serving this entity.

Plot[]

In Blast's absence from his assigned post, Kirin emerges from the Rift in Spacetime and invades Earth. Unfortunately, it crosses paths with Saitama, who is heading toward Sonic's hideout, and is killed by a single punch. Its body is sent back to where it came from. Blast and Empty Void later come across its corpse after entering the Rift in Spacetime.

Abilities and Powers[]

As a Divine Beast, Kirin is an extremely powerful Mysterious Being. However, it was unable to demonstrate how strong it was due to facing Saitama.

Physical Abilities[]

Immense Strength and Durability: Due to its massive size and Divine Beast status, Kirin possesses tremendous physical power and resilience.

Supernatural Abilities[]

Fire Manipulation: Flames could be seen erupting from Kirin's mouth as it was killed by Saitama, indicating it can breathe fire to incinerate its surroundings.

Dimensional Travel: Kirin can cause dimensional rifts to access Earth from the Rift in Spacetime, which appears to be an alternate dimension.

Trivia[]

Kirin is inspired by Qilin, a legendary hooved chimerical creature that appears in Chinese mythology.
Kirin (キリン) is also the Japanese word for "giraffe".
