Jumping Spider (ハエトリノ, Haetorino; Viz: Spiderino) was a Mysterious Being who changed after he didn't remove a spider that went into his ear. He was killed by Saitama.^[1]

Appearance

Jumping spider had a upper half of a human male, and a giant-sized arachnid lower half based on a jumping spider.

History

Jumping Spider was a human who didn't remove a spider that went into his ear. This act, or lack of, caused him to turn into a monster.

An evacuation alert rings out warning Y-City of a Mysterious Being with a disaster level of tiger. The monster Jumping Spider is disrupting Y-City when the heroes Child Emperor, Darkness Blade, Stinger, Red Muffler and Great Philosopher come to stop him. Jumping Spider knocks away all the heroes before Jumping Spider is killed by Genos and Saitama. However, Child Emperor attributes the credit to King. Fubuki later kills off the remaining parasites from Jumping Spider's dead body.

Abilities and Powers

Jumping Spider was shown to have possessed impressive physical strength and speed, even surpassing those of A-Class heroes. His physical power level was read to be 6999 by Child Emperor's Okame-Chan.

Physical Abilities

Immense Strength: Jumping Spider was able to effortlessly knock back A-Class and S-Class heroes.

Immense Speed: Jumping Spider was able to effortlessly dodge the attacks from multiple A-Class heroes.

Web Spinning: Jumping Spider is able to quickly spin webs, and he used this ability to disarm opponents.

Spider Parasite: Jumping Spider is able to release many small spiders from his body. It can be assumed that these spiders will create other "Jumping Spider"-like monsters if they infect a human. This ability persists even after death.

Jumping Spider and Withered Sprout are the only Mysterious Beings who were considered with three different disaster levels.

Jumping Spider was initially considered Tiger by the Hero Association.
Child Emperor analysed Jumping Spider with his device, Okame-Chan. The result was 402, which is about half as strong as a bear. Child Emperor suggest it was more like Wolf
In actuality, Jumping Spider's main strength comes from his lower spider half with a Okame-Chan score of 6999. This puts him by Child Emperor's estimation as Demon level.
