Io is one of Jupiter's moons.
Overview[]
Io, like its real-world counterpart, is slightly larger than Earth's moon. It is the fourth-largest moon in the solar system, with over 400 active volcanoes and an extremely thin atmosphere composed mainly of sulfur dioxide. It is also the most radioactive solid surface in the solar system.[1]

After being sent flying from the recoil of their own punches colliding, both Saitama and Garou land on Io. The fight between them continues on this Jupiter's moon. During this, Saitama uses two of his serious moves against Garou, Serious Table Flip and Serious Sneeze, resulting in the surface of Io being badly damaged. Later on, after Saitama travels to the past and defeats Garou before the Ominous Future can occur again, the damage done to Io is restored due to the reversal of causality.
Trivia[]
- Although Io has an extremely thin, poisonous, and unbreathable atmosphere, neither Saitama nor Garou (in Cosmic Fear Mode) has difficulty surviving on it.
