Gouketsu vs. Bakuzan was the fight between the two Dragon-level monsters Gouketsu and Bakuzan.

Prelude

After Bakuzan pummels and immobilizes Suiryu, who was already severely fatigued and injured from his previous encounter with Gouketsu, he challenges Gouketsu. Gouketsu responds by saying that there are monsters even stronger than Bakuzan, including Gouketsu himself, advising him not to become overconfident.

Battle

Gouketsu demonstrates his strength to Bakuzan

In response to Gouketsu's comments, Bakuzan launches a straight punch while proclaiming himself the strongest. Gouketsu swiftly dodges the attack and effortlessly blocks Bakuzan's elbow strike with just two fingers. Bakuzan follows up with two more punches, but Gouketsu easily deflects them, sending Bakuzan reeling. Hurt by the blow to his pride, Bakuzan angrily unleashes a furious barrage of punches with all four arms in an attempt to inflict damage. However, the first Super Fight champion, using only one arm, skillfully blocks every attack with ease, much to Bakuzan's frustration. Gouketsu then decides to stop playing around, showcasing his superior strength by delivering a powerful punch that intentionally misses Bakuzan. The resulting shockwave creates a massive hole in the Super Fight Stadium, leaving Bakuzan terrified and prompting him to cease his assault.

Aftermath

Gouketsu calms Bakuzan

After calming Bakuzan down by demonstrating his far superior strength to him, Gouketsu warns him that even a monster who is as strong as Bakuzan cannot solo the whole Hero Association. He apparently encourages him to come to the Monster Association before departing.

Trivia

• In the anime, this battle lasts much shorter, as Gouketsu immediately scares Bakuzan with the shockwave punch from the get-go.
