Genos vs Deep Sea King was the battle between the S-Class hero Genos and Deep Sea King, a Demon-level mysterious being.
Prelude[]
Deep Sea King demonstrates his overwhelming strength by easily defeating four heroes, instilling fear in the civilians who witness his seemingly unstoppable power. Just as he is about to consume the terrified human bystanders, Genos arrives, marking the beginning of their confrontation.
Battle[]
Genos arrives to stop Deep Sea King
As Deep Sea King prepares to attack the civilians in the building, Genos crashes through the roof. Turning to face him, Genos declares his intent to eradicate the monster and unleashes a powerful punch that creates an incineration blast, breaking through the shelter's wall and reverting Deep Sea King back to his original form.
Deep Sea King lands a surprise attack on an unguarded Genos
The shelter resonates with applause as Genos notes the desperation of the people for rescue. However, Deep Sea King grabs Genos' arm and delivers a devastating right hook, slamming him into the wall and tearing off one of his arms. With his face disfigured from Genos' punch, the sea monster threatens to shred the hero, while Genos, with a cracked visage from the wall impact, laments his failure to remain vigilant, admitting he never learns from his errors.
Genos shouts for everyone to evacuate and leave the Mysterious Being to him. Deep Sea King, grinning maliciously, shouts at the fleeing crowd, declaring their escape impossible. In response, Genos channels his energy and propels himself toward Deep Sea King, delivering a fierce kick to his face, which Deep Sea King counters with a powerful punch.
Genos blocks Deep Sea King's punch
The two engage in a flurry of punches, appearing evenly matched despite Genos having only one arm. However, Genos soon gains the advantage, landing a solid blow to Deep Sea King's face. Seizing the opportunity, he follows up with a powerful uppercut that sends Deep Sea King crashing through the roof. Genos then unleashes his Incineration Cannon, which disorient Deep Sea King.
Though Deep Sea King quickly shakes off the flames, Genos hovers above him and employs a new technique, Lightning Eye, temporarily blinding the monster with the emitting bright light. With Deep Sea King unable to see, Genos delivers a kick followed by his Machine Gun Blows. Deep Sea King comments on Genos' penchant for combo attacks. When they crash down, the smoke clears, revealing the two locked in a stalemate.
Genos defending a little girl from the Acid Spit
As the civilians retreat from the battle, a little girl shouts her belief in Genos' victory. In a fit of anger, Deep Sea King spits acid at her, telling the child to be quiet and melt away. With no time to spare, Genos throws himself in the path of the acid, saving the girl but suffering severe damage in the process. Taking advantage of this, Deep Sea King grabs Genos by the head and hurls him into a nearby wall, following up with a crushing punch that sends Genos crashing through the wall and onto the street. With most of his upper body severely damaged, Genos lies defenseless.
Genos is defeated
Standing victorious, Deep Sea King congratulates Genos for giving him a few scratches, but states that they have already healed. He also mocks Genos for throwing the battle to protect a little girl. But just as he is about to deal the final blow, the battle is interrupted by Mumen Rider.
Aftermath[]
Genos is left severely damaged and immobilized. When Saitama arrives at the scene later, he asks if Genos is still alive, showing the genuine bond he has formed with the teenage cyborg.
