— Puri-Puri Prisoner realizing the consequences of his actions. |
Garou vs. Puri-Puri Prisoner is the battle between Garou and the S-Class hero Puri-Puri Prisoner.
Prelude[]
After having been defeated by Orochi, Garou is taken to a room with torture devices and chained to a wall. Puri-Puri Prisoner is swimming through the Monster Association looking for Nyan using his Angel ☆ Crawl when he stumbles upon Garou. The hero shouts at him, introducing himself, but then recognizes Garou from wanted posters. Upon awakening, Garou breaks free from his chains and lunges at Puri-Puri Prisoner.
Battle[]
Garou strikes Puri-Puri Prisoner with a series of blows and knocks the S-Class hero off his feet. The hero is shocked by the unbelievable power his opponent possesses, and even though he shielded himself with his Bristle ☆ Armor, he still was dealt severe damage. Garou lets out a very powerful scream, and Puri-Puri Prisoner is sent into shock. The hero realizes that he's awakened an extremely dangerous man.
Aftermath[]
Puri-Puri Prisoner's muscles are destroyed and he is crippled. Fortunately, Darkshine finds him, and after hearing what happened, promises to take revenge on Garou. It's later revealed that Garou's mind was asleep during the whole fight, and Garou does not remember fighting Puri-Puri Prisoner.
Trivia[]
- In the webcomic equivalent of this fight, the preceding events were not shown; Garou, after having been defeated and left in place, is simply shown standing over the injured Puri-Puri Prisoner, having awakened on his own. Additionally, in the webcomic Garou defeated Puri-Puri Prisoner with a single blow, while in the manga, Garou used multiple punches to take down the hero, although Garou was fighting sub-consciously while his mind was still unconscious. Webcomic Puri-Puri Prisoner also did not have bristle armor.
