| — Garou preparing to attack Gyoro Gyoro. |
Garou vs. Gyoro Gyoro is the battle between Garou and the military advisor of the Monster Association, Gyoro Gyoro.
Prelude[]
Garou and Gyoro Gyoro meet again
Garou battles Overgrown Rover but is blasted by one of Rover's energy attacks, sending him crashing through multiple floors into Gyoro Gyoro's personal quarters.
Gyoro Gyoro acknowledges Garou's growth, calling him a half-monster and noting that, despite not being a full-fledged monster, he has still managed to endure Overgrown Rover's attacks impressively. Gyoro Gyoro then launches into a rant, insisting that Garou should still join the Monster Association and offering him a position once again. Garou refuses, but Gyoro Gyoro retorts by claiming that from the moment he caught its attention, he lost the right to decline.
Battle[]
Gyoro Gyoro uses Psychokinesis to stop Garou's movements
Garou declares that he hates those who look down from above more than anything. In response, Gyoro Gyoro mocks him, stating that such bold words mean little from someone unable to move. Using its psychic abilities, the monster restrains Garou, boasting that its powers encroach upon the domain of the gods, far surpassing both Fubuki and Tatsumaki. However, to its shock, Garou gradually adapts to the psychic hold. He then attributes his resilience to his fighting spirit, referencing Metal Bat's usage of the term.
Garou breaks out
Recognizing that Garou's adaptability surpasses normal limits, Gyoro Gyoro hurls a barrage of rocks to restrain him. However, the Hero Hunter smashes through them with ease. He then taunts Gyoro Gyoro, pointing out that the moment it resorted to throwing rocks, its psychic binding had already weakened, exposing its inability to multitask.
Garou leaps onto a ledge, reaching eye level with Gyoro Gyoro, and scoffs at the idea that a lowly monster could claim to have nurtured a genius like him. He muses that if he defeats one of the Monster Association's key figures, the entire group may collapse. Just as he prepares to continue the fight, Gyoro Gyoro remarks that with heroes approaching, it cannot afford to waste stamina. It then summons Orochi to deal with Garou. As Orochi's hand bursts from below and grabs him, Garou's eyes widen in shock. Gyoro Gyoro wishes him luck, bringing their battle to an end.
Aftermath[]
Shortly after, Garou faces Orochi in battle. Gyoro Gyoro observes from the sidelines, occasionally commenting on the fight.
Trivia[]
- In the webcomic, Gyoro Gyoro is unaware of the Limiter, and Orochi does not exist. Instead, Gyoro Gyoro uses psychic powers to amplify gravity around Garou, personally ending the battle.
