Garou makes his intro

Garou makes his first appearance at the end of a scuffle between Saitama and Genos with the Harsh Path Style users having bumped into them on their way out after being served a harsh beating by the former. The Harsh Path Style martial artists challenge him to a battle after he refused to apologize for bumping into them. Garou ends up throttling them all. While pining that none of them were any good to help him on his journey to becoming a true monster, one of his beaten quarry asks who he is. Garou answers simply, if albeit dramatically, stating he is "The Villain".

Game and Rivals

Garou enters an online tournament for the fighting game "Wild Animals", which he plans to win using the VR technology to capture his martial arts. He does it to find a fighting challenge and win some prize money.

Garou in VR gear

Garou breezes through the tournament with his wolf avatar, thanks to his extensive training. In the semi-finals, he faces a dragon avatar being controlled by fellow martial artist Suiryu in another venue. Their battle is intense, but is interrupted when Garou begins to move so fast that his VR gear glitches out, allowing Suiryu to easily end the match. Garou is nonplussed by his unfair loss, and asks one of event supervisors where Suiryu is so he can challenge him in person. However, he refuses to give out the information so as to not cause a fight, and Garou departs in disappointment.

Garou is a playable character in the video game, One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows as a DLC character.

Grand Summoners

Garou is one of the various characters able to be summoned. He is a dark unit who grows slowly, but has great potential. He can boost allies and decrease the opponent's accuracy. He does not come with any bonus gear.
