Long Summary[]
While Speed-o'-Sound Sonic is training in the forest, he is attacked by two unknown assailants. They are revealed to be Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame, upperclassmen from Sonic's ninja village. Gale Wind and Hellfire Flame invite Sonic to join the Monster Association and to kill Flashy Flash. Sonic initially refuses, but after witnessing Gale Wind demonstrate his speed in monster form, he is surprised and impressed. Wanting to surpass Saitama, Sonic accepts the offer and takes the Monster Cell, prepared to give up his humanity.
At the Hero Association, the staff discuss the recent sudden monster attack and their quick disappearance. The only exception is Marshall Gorilla, who continues wandering the streets of W-City, unhappy with his assigned disaster level. Rabbit, Meat Pounder, and Ironet are dispatched to defeat him, but Zombieman volunteers to go instead. Intending to gather intel on the Monster Association, Zombieman tails Marshall Gorilla. However, the monster notices someone approaching. It turns out to be Armored Gorilla. Shocked to see him "siding" with humans, Marshall Gorilla attacks with a knife, which breaks on contact. Armored Gorilla defeats him with a single blow. Observing the encounter, Zombieman decides to follow Armored Gorilla instead.
Elsewhere, Bang and Bomb discuss Garou. Bang states that if a hero is going to kill Garou, it should be him. Meanwhile, Sonic cooks, eats the Monster Cell, and ends up with a stomach ache.
