Long Summary[]
Blast and Empty Void clash, and after a brief exchange, Blast uses his gravitational orbs to restrain Void's movements. Blast explains that to access the higher dimension, Void must form a hand seal using both hands. He further adds that he has spent 15 years honing his skills to restrain opponents without killing them, to capture Void alive. Despite being restrained, Void conjures multiple energy spheres that resemble the light powers of Homeless Emperor, launching them at Blast from behind. Recognizing the attack as "the light of divine power," Blast summons several similarly-sized black orbs of dark energy to counter the projectiles, effectively neutralizing them. Suddenly, Sonic throws two explosive kunai at Void in an attempt to finish him off while he is restrained, but Blast kicks the kunai away, telling Sonic not to interfere unnecessarily.
To Blast's surprise, Void begins absorbing the gravitational orbs binding him. Once his hands are free, Void performs the hand seal, which does not escape Blast's notice. In response, Blast quickly shoots two more gravity orbs to restrain him once again, but this effort fails as Void instantly teleports to the higher dimension, his laughter echoing while Blast, Sonic, and Flash look on in confusion.
Blast is surprised that his power of darkness, which seals the power of light, was absorbed by Void. Void then launches a Dimensional Slash from the higher dimension. Acting swiftly, Blast grabs both Sonic and Flash, using a portal to transport them out of danger. The slash cleaves the ground in half, causing collateral damage that bisects mountains and clouds in the distance.
