Suiryu is discharged from the hospital and encounters a monster, which he easily defeats. He wants to register with the Hero Association but changes his mind upon seeing Webigaza's introduction of Neo Heroes. Opting to join the Neo Heroes instead, Suiryu intends to "infiltrate" the rival organization, only to find himself obligated to work for them after accidentally breaking one of their battle suits.

Suiryu is discharged from the hospital, now fully recovered. On his way, he encounters the monster Great Giant Anteater threatening civilians and easily dispatches it. He initially plans to register with the Hero Association instead of the Neo Heroes, since Saitama is there. However, he changes his mind after witnessing Webigaza effortlessly defeat the monster Emperor Giant Anteater. Webigaza announces that she has been "reborn much stronger" after her hiatus and will become a "Neo" idol who also performs hero activities. Deciding to "infiltrate" Neo Heroes instead, Suiryu claims he can join and leave the organization as he pleases.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Suiko is upset that Suiryu was discharged without informing her. At the Neo Heroes Headquarters, Suiryu is sent to the exam hall and given a battle suit, which he ends up breaking. Consequently, Suiryu is now required to work at Neo Heroes until he can repay the cost of the damaged suit. There, he meets Metal Bat, Sekingar, and McCoy, the latter of whom is communicating remotely. Mccoy then informs Metal Bat that Suiryu will be assuming the position of a Neo leader.
