The psychic clash between Tatsumaki and Apollo creates a powerful earthquake that shakes the Hero Association Headquarters, causing a great commotion in the high society living in it and the staff there to be aware of the chaos underground. Recognizing being at a disadvantage, the male esper takes Fubuki hostage by telekinetically breaking a capsule of sleep medicine inside her stomach that he had a spy slipped into her beauty supplements before, anesthetizing her, although she is partly resisting the effects of it. He further informs Tatsumaki of a capsule containing deadly poison is inside Fubuki as well, demanding the elder sister not to resist anymore. Tatsumaki is forced to comply before being restrained by Apollo's psychic power. Apollo proceeds to open the containment cage of Demon-level Mysterious Beings that are kept on the floor beneath in an attempt to have the monsters kill off all witnesses who are aware of the kidnapping of Psykos, Fubuki and Tatsumaki.
As the Demon-level monsters approach everyone, Apollo is about to leave with his spy, who is revealed to have infiltrated the Blizzard Group as a fake member. To their surprise, Saitama busts through the floor's entrance surrounded by the monsters' guts and blood. At the moment of distraction, Tatsumaki breaks free of her restraints; Apollo quickly tries to break the poison pill inside of Fubuki, though to no avail, as Tatsumaki has managed to find and neutralize it by copying the wavelength of Apollo's telekinetic signals, having twisted the pill and all its contents into a needle. She pulls the needle out of Fubuki's body and directs it towards Apollo's face, causing him to be badly poisoned. Intending to get information from Tsukuyomi out of him, Tatsumaki captures Apollo by trapping him into a huge boulder-sized asteroid made out of rubble. The spy desperately tries to flee the scene but the heroine smashes him into the wall, knocking him out.
With the Tsukuyomi members defeated and the situation solved, the Blizzard Group rushes to their leader, showing concern for Fubuki's wellbeing and wanting to know what just happened. Tatsumaki furiously demands their silence and scolds the entire group including Fubuki. She blames them for putting Fubuki in danger before deciding to punish them in order to make sure they cut ties with her sister. However, just as she is about to do so, Saitama stops her.
