Long Summary[]
Lightning Max directs the heroes on the boat to go looking for Tareo while Waganma is startled to see Pig God floating on the water thinking that it is a drowned corpse. Meanwhile,[Garou continues to struggle against Saitama, using a flurry of rapid punches to launch him into the sky, only for Saitama to ask where he learned it from. As he wonders if he can ever become "Absolute Evil", he sees his opponent casually swatting his attacks one-handedly, enraging him. He remembers when the people he inadvertently saved had thanked him and lowered his resolve, seeing himself at that moment as pathetic. Using his rear arms to propel himself, Garou lunges at Saitama and uses Extreme Fa Jin, driving the hero and himself deep into the mountain below; the force of the attack sends shockwaves to ripple through the Earth's mantle and causes a portion of land to rise up from the other side of the planet. A downed passenger plane is unexpectedly rescued when the planet's crust rises upwards, save for an unlucky lifeboat.
In another dimension, Blast senses the attack's energy is distorting the Earth's magnetic and gravitational field. Sensing a tear might occur in the dimensional seal they have been guarding, he and others scramble to repair it, unwilling to let "God" break through.
Now somewhat annoyed, Saitama uses Consecutive Normal Punches and propels Garou out of the mountain they were trapped in, destroying it in the process. Confused that none of his strategies are working against the Caped Baldy, the Human Monster ponders on Sage Centipede's sole intentions, believing "The Abominable Fist That Turned Against God" isn't about himself but about Saitama. The hero lands another titanic punch, sending Garou hurtling through several mountains and landing a great distance out into the drained sea. Exhausted, he sees Saitama land down and approach him. Denouncing him as the embodiment of unfairness, Garou makes a final attempt to strike the hero, only to be punched so hard, his human body breaks free from his monstrous form, frustrated that he is beaten by an unbeatable unfairness despite all his work to gain strength. At that moment, a series of lenticular clouds appear in the sky, and a voice calls to him.
On land, Pig God has rescued numerous people by protecting them in his stomach from harm. Among them is the obese Tanktop Master, who is greeted by Mumen Rider. The S-Class hero is glad to see his hospital mate helping out but everyone is startled by the clouds' mysterious appearance. An enormous foot steps down onto the Earth, shrouded in thunderclouds As the heroes regard the other-worldly scene in horror, another foot lands down onto the surface and the enigmatic figure begins to walk. The figure stands in front of Garou and calls to him. Confused by who's calling him, Garou hears the figure talking about his deepest wish, and how it is falling apart at the hands of one hero. Aggravated by its words, Garou threatens the voice but it continues.
Garou demands the figure to show its face and after turning around, he sees Bang (impersonated by "God"), shrouded in darkness, holding out a hand. As Garou seemingly holds out his hand to reach his supposed former mentor, the enormous face of "God" peers through the clouds as the Hero Hunter is given a new power. Saitama, watching from the bottom, suddenly sees something land down from the sky. He looks at Garou and wonders about his change in costume, only to scratch his eyes and squint at him. Garou, now appearing as a void of stars and galaxies, prepares for another round against Saitama while dubbing his new transformation as Awakened Garou: Cosmic Fear Mode.
