Long Summary[]
The hero rescue team discusses recent events with Sekingar. Although the dangerous situation seems to have de-escalated, Sekingar warns the heroes that monsters could appear at any moment, urging them to conduct their rescue operations swiftly. Lightning Max inquires about the defeats of Sage Centipede and Evil Ocean Water, to which Tareo replies that it was "uncle" (a term he uses for Garou) who vanquished them. Mumen Rider asks Tareo if this "uncle" wears a tank top, and Tareo responds that he doesn't believe so. Suddenly, an earthquake strikes, prompting concern that trouble may be brewing again.
Meanwhile, high in the sky, the fight between Garou and Saitama erupts in earnest, causing the seismic activity. Despite Garou's fierce onslaught, Saitama effortlessly fends off. He throws a punch at Garou, who dodges and counters with an ax-kick that devastates the ground upon impact. As Saitama quickly recovers, Garou charges with a hand chop to Saitama's head. However, Saitama remains unfazed and counters with a head butt that shatters Garou's forearm. Remarkably, Garou regenerates his forearm and continues his assault, while Saitama simply wishes to converse. Frustrated, Saitama lands a punch on Garou, launching him toward Tareo and the other heroes. As Tareo approaches, Garou's body begins to mutate, alarming the boy. Perceiving Garou as a monster, Max and Sneck intervene, pulling Tareo away. The injured heroes quickly board two boats with Tareo and set off. As one boat heads toward the sea, Tareo jumps off and swims back to shore to confront Garou.
Faced with Garou's mutated form, Tareo shows no fear, instead calling him a hero. Frustrated, Garou tries to explain that he is not a hero, but Tareo insists otherwise, stating that Garou has saved him four times. Tareo declares Garou to be the greatest hero in his eyes and urges him to stop pretending to be a monster. As Garou appears upset, Saitama arrives and echoes Tareo's sentiment, commenting on Garou's "cosplay." As Saitama approaches, Garou tells Tareo to watch closely, promising to demonstrate the heroes' powerlessness. Tareo attempts to dissuade Garou from fighting Saitama, warning that hurting more heroes will solidify his status as a true monster. When Saitama challenges Garou to attack, Garou punches him hard in the head, shocking Tareo. Unfazed, Saitama reassures Tareo that he won't be harmed. Garou quickly tries to strike Saitama again but is swatted away. Tareo calls out to Garou, and Saitama asks if he wants him to stop Garou. Tareo nods, prompting Saitama to move toward the Hero Hunter.
