Long Summary[]

The emergence of Sage Centipede and Evil Ocean Water terrifies Sekingar, Needle Star as well as Mizuki, all of whom who want to stay away from those two devastating threats as soon as possible. In the meantime, Garou's combo attacks have proven quite effective against Sage Centipede, who has taken damage and is stunned by the Hero Hunter's assault. Garou notices that there is a helicopter from afar and sees that Tareo is inside it. He is surprised that the boy managed to escape the Monster Association Headquarters and then taunts Sage Centipede, trying to attract its attention. However; Sage Centipede realizes that the helicopter behind it concerns Garou, and it tells him to not move, otherwise, Evil Ocean Water will shoot down the helicopter with its Great Oceanic Cannon. While Garou is shocked after hearing it, Sage Centipede attacks him with its Centipede Grand March, surrounding and striking him repeatedly, with Evil Ocean Water aiding the centipede by shooting a devastating water cannon at the Hero Hunter. King, from afar, observes the great destruction caused by Evil Ocean Water's water cannon while carrying an injured Tatsumaki. Garou is badly hurt and launched a great distance away while Sage Centipede laughs at him.

At this moment, Sage Centipede notices something is dashing towards the sea at lightning speed, leaving powerful shockwaves in the wakes. The being is revealed to be Saitama, who proceeds to jump towards Evil Ocean Water and strikes it with a Serious Punch. Upon contact, the punch dissipates Evil Ocean Water and splits the entire ocean, shocking Sage Centipede, who does not understand what's happened. The aircraft carrier Gotz Okkie, which was enveloped by the ocean, begins to expose, coming to Saitama's attention. Due to not having somewhere to stand, Saitama is unable to lift and carry the carrier. He instead uses the vessel's deck as an impromptu surfboard, helping the ship escape tsunami waves.

Sage Centipede is in disbelief as it thinks Evil Ocean Water is dead, wondering what on Earth has happened. It then pursues the helicopter, which Tareo and Waganma are inside. Garou, already recovered from the damage, chases the monster. Suddenly, Metal Bat jumps onto Sage Centipede and strikes it many times in the face. However; Sage Centipede shrugs off his assault and simply tosses him away. While on his way to reach the monster, Garou runs into Metal Bat, and the two of them are surprised to see each other again.

Believing him to get in his way once more, Metal Bat attacks the Hero Hunter, but he swiftly evades the hero's swings and keeps moving forwards, ignoring him. Garou jumps onto Sage Centipede's back, with Metal Bat catching up to him. While they almost reach the monster's head, a reporter helicopter pops up right above the centipede, much to the monster's annoyance. Sage Centipede then strikes the reporter helicopter with one of its antennas. However, Metal Bat appears in front of the helicopter and blocks the strike, while Garou gets onto the helicopter and scares off people inside it, causing it to fly away from the scene. Immediately after, Garou charges towards Sage Centipede and lands a barrage of attacks. Despite taking his blows head-on, Sage Centipede is only momentarily knocked back and quickly recovers.

Both Garou and Metal Bat stand side-by-side and assume their stances. Metal Bat questions what is wrong with Garou, given that he not only attacked Sage Centipede but also helped the reporter helicopter escape, commenting that he is now even more sensible than when he was human. Garou responds by saying that he just wants to show the world how terrifying he is. He informs the hero of the monster's target being the rescue helicopter behind them, stating that the two have to buy some time for it to get away. Garou suggests Metal Bat act as a decoy, much to the hero's anger. After an argument, they finally team up against Sage Centipede.

Meanwhile, in the Hero Association Hospital, Suiryu and Suiko are seen watching the situation in Z-City through a television. As Suiko comments that the reporters will not get away from a monster (referring to Garou) that can leap into a helicopter, Suiryu, on the other hand, expresses that the helicopter did not crash and he somehow believes that Garou did not want to kill those people.
