Saitama, Flashy Flash, and Manako peer into the mysterious hole but are unable to see anything. Multiple lightings generated by Manako also doesn't function as entities within the hole do not interact with most electromagnetic waves. Suddenly, a voice appears in the head of the three (presumably God) and offers to bestow powers upon them. Blast intervenes by appearing through a worm-hole and explaining to the three that due to their physical contact with the Mysterious Cube, they are able to talk with "him" (presumably God) and that he's been collecting these cubes as a "hobby". The voice reveals Blast's identity to the three and Flashy Flash decides to test the purported hero and attacks him, Blast easily dodges Flash's Flashy Kicks thus cementing his identity as the top ranked hero. Blast then decides to take the three to the surface via generating another worm-hole.
Meanwhile, Child Emperor, Zombieman, and Sweet Mask stay in the rearguard during the battle against Psykos and Orochi. Child Emperor berates himself for not being an effective leader and offers Zombieman to take up the role, Sweet Mask on the other hand, refers to Zombieman as a pseudo-monster and refuses to put trust into him. Just as Zombieman is reassuring Child Emperor of his capabilities, Homeless Emperor reappears from the ground and attacks the rearguards. During the executive's unexpected assault, Sweet Mask apparently manages to dodge his energy spheres. However; Zombieman's body is torn apart as he blocks the shots for Child Emperor.
Tatsumaki launches the energy spear at Orochi and shreds the monster to pieces. The spear drills into the ground and stops near a mysterious altar.
