Blue (ブルー, Burū) is the top hero of the Neo Heroes and the son of Blast.[1] He is also one of the growing number of people aware of Saitama's strength.
Appearance[]
Blue is a teenager of roughly average height and muscular build with light hair that falls over his face in bangs. His eyes have multicolored irises, being light near the center but dark towards the outside, resembling his father Blast. During his introduction, he wears a baggy light-colored jacket and pants, with dark socks and light-colored sneakers. Underneath his outer layer of clothing, Blue wears arm gauntlets reaching from his hand to his shoulder, as well as a tight, dark-colored undershirt and pair of shorts. Later on, he wears a zip-up vest over a full battle suit.
Personality[]
Blue is very determined and ambitious, driven by his desire to surpass his father Blast. He has a very strong sense of morality, wanting to protect people from monsters and going against those who get in the way of this goal, including his superior Fuzzy. He also has a short temper, growing annoyed with Genos after being stopped and interrogated by him during his pursuit of Sweet Mask, as well as shouting at Forte when the latter brought up his father. Despite this, Blue cares for others, as evidenced by his anger towards Shell King when the Demon level monster injured his team members, and his concern when he saved a group of heroes from several monsters.
Abilities and Powers[]
Blue is stated by himself and McCoy to be the number one member of the Neo Heroes, including people as strong as Raiden or as skilled as Suiryu. His combination of feats indicates that he is a well rounded and very skilled hero.
Physical Abilities[]
Immense Speed and Reflexes: Blue is shown being able to follow and keep pace with Saitama, admittedly while the bald hero was carrying a monsterized Sweet Mask. He is also able to land several quick blows on the Demon-level monster Shell King, as well as keep pace with the Dragon level monster Eel Dragon, albeit with more difficulty.
Immense Strength: Blue can destroy the Demon-level monster Shell King in a single blow, as well as defeat the Dragon-level monster Eel Dragon after a longer and harder fight. Later in the series, he defeats the Dragon-level monster Mastiking in a single strike.
Immense Endurance: Blue is able to defeat a Dragon-level threat immediately after taking down a Demon and several Mysterious Beings.
Equipment[]
Battle Suit: Blue wears a battle suit which provides him with a variety of functions.
- Energy Gauntlets: Blue's suit has been modified so that his left gauntlet can power up to chop a monster's claw off, and his right gauntlet can charge up his special move.
- Limiters: Blue has several limiters on his suit which, when unlocked, increase his power at the cost of expending more energy.
- Wings: Blue's suit has a pair of wings that enable him to fly.
Lenses: Blue wears a set of high-tech lenses on his eyes which can detect enemies, although their full function is unknown.
Energy Swords: Blue has a number of energy swords at his disposal, one of which he gives to Heat Edge.
Fighting Style[]
Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Blue is adept in combat, being able to make good use of his battle suit to outmaneuver and defeat monsters such as Shell King and Eel Dragon without any injury.
- Fist Cannon (フィストキャノン, Fisutokyanon): Blue charges up the right gauntlet of his suit, unleashing a blast of energy capable of bringing down Demon-level monsters.
