Relationships[]
Zenko[]
As her big brother, Bad greatly dotes on Zenko and cherishes her.[1] He values promises between them to the point of risking injury. This is seen when he stopped attacking Garou when Zenko was present as Bad promised to never show her violence.[2]
Garou[]

Bad fights Garou
Bad fought Garou. Bad believes Garou is some punk that interrupts Bad's real hero work such as dealing with Elder Centipede. Bad is annoyed and angered by Garou for attacking him and was focused on putting him down. Garou encounters Metal Bat on his way to fight Watchdog Man. At first, Garou doesn't think highly of Metal Bat, but later he admits that Metal Bat could defeat him with one clean hit if he landed a blow.[3][4]
They later team up against Sage Centipede with often arguing between the two. Metal Bat and Garou seem to have a rivalry relationship as their both delinquents with a bad attitude and always shown to try compete for strength between the two. It's shown that he has some respect for Garou wanting to protect a helicopter with Tareo inside. Later when Metal Bat is taken out during the fight, he calls out "you better win" out to Garou.
Furthermore, after Cosmic Garou gets defeated by Saitama, Metal Bat is one of the only few people to stand up for Garou when the heroes were deciding his fate. Metal Bat was the first one to intervene when the lower class heroes were beating on him, and having witnessed his humanity, Metal Bat outright rejects Sweet Mask's decision to execute Garou.
Sekingar[]
Metal Bat has a very good relationship with Sekingar. Metal Bat initially believed that all hero association executives were helpless losers, but after witnessing Sekingar in the monster association raid, his opinion changes. Metal Bat seems to respect Skeingar's ability to lead, and even calls him "Boss" on multiple occasions. Sekingar also shows mutual respect to Metal Bat by referring to him as a "Diamond". Metal Bat later follows Sekingar in joining the neo heroes to protect him, in case anyone finds out about their infiltration plan.
Bang[]
Bang sees Metal Bat as a young kid with great potential. According to the audiobooks, they have sparred in the dojo once before, due to Sitch wanting to introduce some of the S Class heroes to Bang's martial arts. Initially, Metal Bat had no interest in participating in this activity, but he eventually agrees to sparring with Bang. During their spar, Bang uses Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist to dodge and redirect Metal Bat's swings. Bang was surprised at how much power there was behind Metal Bat's attacks, stating that he only redirected half the power on one of his swings, and yet it still blew off the dojo's walls. Their spar gets interrupted by a phone call from Zenko, which forces Metal Bat to leave in a hurry.
Flashy Flash[]
They had limited interactions during the anime and OVA. However, neither of them could get along with one another. In both moments, Flash would instigate a verbal conflict whenever Metal Bat is talking. This usually ends with Flash mocking Metal Bat and Metal Bat's temper escalating the conflict between them.[5][6]
