Asami (アサミ, Asami) is a former member of Narinki's Private Squad.
After leaving the squad, she works as a security guard at Narinki Park.
Appearance[]
Asami is a young woman with shoulder-length dark violet hair and light purple eyes. She has an athletic yet toned build. She has visible creases under her eyes and wears a specialized black-and-white power suit over a shirt. On the back cover of Volume 21, she is depicted with a large skull tattoo beneath her breasts.

Human Monster Saga[]
Monster Association Arc[]
Asami and her team are summoned by Narinki to rescue his son from the Monster Association. Narinki promises that if they succeed, they will be rewarded so generously that even their grandchildren will never have to work.[1]
The squad infiltrates the Monster Association but is eventually overpowered and forced to retreat. Before they can escape, G5 intercepts them and brings them to Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro. Terrified, Asami is seen crying as the monsters debate their fate. Just as several monsters prepare to kill them, Royal Ripper intervenes and kills the monsters, wanting to claim the victims for himself. G5 mentions that their battle suits are uniquely customized and connected to their bodies, suggesting they could be used as pawns. Royal Ripper disagrees, but before he can torture them, Do-S blocks his blade with her whip. She suggests turning them into her love slaves, which Gyoro Gyoro approves. Asami and the other mercenaries fall under Do-S's control.
When the heroes invade the headquarters, Do-S tells Asami and the others to prepare for battle and kill any heroes that they come across.
Do-S and Narinki's Private Squad later come across Atomic Samurai's three disciples. They battle the three disciples, until Sweet Mask appears, telling the disciples that he can handle the situation alone. The disciples briefly withdraw, but when they realize that Sweet Mask intends to massacre the entire squad and Do-S, they quickly return and subdue Asami and the others, in the process saving them from being killed by Sweet Mask. This leaves Sweet Mask to battle Do-S. Once Do-S is defeated, the mind control of her whip is broken, restoring Asami's and her group's free will. Grateful and awestruck, she and several others swoon over Sweet Mask. After hearing Tongara claim that his fear of the monsters was just an act, Asami insists she was acting as well. In reality, she was so terrified she nearly wet herself, though she is too embarrassed to admit it.[2]

Neo Heroes Saga[]
Supreme Hero Arc[]
Asami, Noria, Sosshi, Sanshon, Chinpi, and Gomago all work as security guards at Narinki Park. The latter four are attacked and defeated by Pesky Clown as he wreaks havoc across the park. She and Noria rush to aid their injured colleagues, and together the six of them watch as the battle between Sweet Mask and Pesky Clown unfolds.
Abilities and Powers[]
As a member of Narinki's Private Squad, Asami is equipped with advanced battle armor from The Organization, enhancing her combat abilities. Alongside her squad, she was able to pressure Atomic Samurai's disciples, whom Fubuki considers S-Class material.
Mercenary skills[]
Outside of weapon use, Asami is highly skilled in close-quarters combat, utilizing a fighting style that incorporates athletic movements. She demonstrates teamwork with her squadmate Noria and, like her leader Tongara, can fake emotions and deceive others through acting. However, cunning monsters like Royal Ripper are not easily fooled. She also convincingly mimicked the behavior of a typical love slave of Do-S, despite experiencing the status only once.
Equipment[]
Battle Suit: Asami wears armor presumably manufactured by The Organization[3] provided to her by Narinki. The armor is even more advanced than the previous battle suits, and allows her to fight top ranking A-Class heroes.
Spear: Asami wielded a large spear. She appeared to be adept in utilizing the weapon for combat.[4] The spear was destroyed by Okamaitachi.

- In the first version of Chapter 105, Asami wielded two tonfa as her main weapons instead of a spear.[5]

- Asami is named after asanomi, 麻の実, hemp seeds, one of the ingredients to make shichimi, a Japanese spice mixture.
