In OPM, there has been countless number of monsters who are said to belong to a race called 'Mysterious Beings'. I wonder that we have seen too many types of these mysterious beings (perhaps more monsters than humans in OPM). Then why are they still 'mysterious beings' for us? Shouldn't their race be called something more specific because 'mysterious beings' is also too fuzzy and 'monsters' is too broad.

Your opinion might be right. It seems very awkward to think that God is behind all this. There must be more than one Godly entity. If some of them produced monsters, others must be producing beings like Saitama to compete. In short, the world could just be like a chess for these Gods.
@Tp847SecondAccount We can't say that he directly confronted God. He only faced Garou who was granted powers by God.
@JaegerLC There could be an alternative explanation for that. Even if God granted Saitama his powers, Saitama had the free will by which he could use his powers against even God.
@Turner Blackey There is a fan theory that says Saitama could be an incarnation of God or God must have given him his powers just like Homeless Emperor and Garou.
